The Mount Helena Residents and Ratepayers Progress Association (MHRRPA) manages the local community noticeboard located at Vibe Petroleum/Home Hardware (Maddison’s), McVicar Place, providing a central point for sharing local information and community updates.

The Mount Helena Tavern (aka "The Mounties") has been with the town since 1902 and features a full restaurant and picturesque beer garden in addition to the traditional bar and tavern space.

The Community Pantry
The Eastern Hills Community Pantry is located right in the heart of Mount Helena on Keane Street East (cnr of Coyne St) opp the CWA Hall. The pantry offers free food for locals doing it tough. The pantry also takes donations of food and money, please see their Facebook group.

Junior Cricket Club offering kids of ALL ages the chance to play cricket.

Junior Blasters (Girls/Boys) - 5-7yrs, a fun introduction to playing Cricket over a 8 week period.

Master Blasters (Girls/Boys) - 7-10yrs, short, modified game, everyone gets a change to bat, bowl and field whilst learning new skills.

Junior Cricket - Boys/Girls from 8 yrs+ can play Junior Cricket. Mid-week training, games are played either Saturdays or Sundays starting at 8.30am.

Lost Mundaring & Surroundings Local History Museum
Mundaring's local history museum that gathers, preserves, showcases and interprets the Mundaring Hills history for the current and future generations. Working with local community groups, schools and locals to share local history. The Mundaring Travelling Museum, opened in March 2019, is home to permanent and temporary exhibitions regarding the Hills history.
